I go to Sears Hometown Store in Morehead City for all my appliance needs. The owner and employees are extremely knowledgable and helpful. It is a good experience to find what I need with such care and expertise. I've shopped Sears for 40+ years and by far this is the most helpful store. Susan Boyd
If you purchase a riding lawn mower and they have to order it, don't do it unless you don't want it on time. The same warehouse employees who make all of there deliveries for appliances, are the same employees that have to uncrate my riding lawn mower. It appears appliance deliveries are more important to get done, and the hell with anyone trying to pick up their riding lawn mower. I was told that projected date would be 7-7-17, yesterday, and it was received, but the delivery guys were so busy on Friday, that's it's still in the crate and on top of other lawnmowers. And now it's Saturday and I still might not get it as the delivery guys are very busy again today. I can't even go and pick it up and take it home to uncrate it myself, because only the warehouse employees can get it down. Its noon and the sales person said she will try and find out something, but not sure if I can get it this afternoon. My only hope is that she can at least get them to take it down off the others and I can pick up before they close at 7pm. So bottom line is, maybe a great place to get appliances because you can get those delivered but don't buy a lawn more that you have to order and they have to uncrated you might never get it

Based on these experiences with Sear Service, our next home purchases will be from Sears.
Sears has Excellent Service for Lawn Tractor maintenance. I called the 800 number, set up a date, and they came to the house and serviced the lawn tractor on-site. The whole process was quick and convenient for us. The technician was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and handled the repairs pleasantly and efficiently. Based on this experience, we will use them for all future service repairs. I have recommended Sears to a friend for her Lawn Tractor Purchase and Maintenance as well.
Also, when we were recently shopping for a new refrigerator, we decided to purchase one from Sears at the Morehead City store because of the great service we received from Sears on our lawn tractor. When the Sears guys delivered the refrigerator, they took great care not to scratch our hardwood floors, installed it quickly and got everything set up properly for us. Sears not only has great products, but exceptional service.
We will definitely be making future home improvement purchases from SEARS.
No fault with the store in Morehead City, but dealing with Sears has got me fired up. I placed a order on line and chose "pick up in store". I placed the order then reviewed it. They decided to send my part to Wilmington instead of Morehead City for some reason. Having given them my mailing address, and zip code, I assumed they would send the part to the nearest store. Nope, sent it to Wilmington. So I called and got three different answers from 3 different people. No one could cancel the order, not one of them. I asked to speak to a supervisor and there was no one to speak with. After a entire hour on the phone, and chat, the order was re-directed to the Morehead City store. Terrible, terrible customer service.
