I am kind of new to the area so I didn't really know who would be a good dentist to go to, I hadn't been to a dentist in 10 years so I knew I had to go somewhere. I based my decision to go to Johnson Family Dentistry off of the two good google reviews they had (may not have seemed smart at the time) but I'm very glad I did. I'm writing this review in case there's ever someone else that's new to the area and isn't sure where to go and just ends up googling something like "dentists in havelock area". Johnson Family Dentistry gets 5 stars all around from the receptionists, to the dental hygienists, and Dr Johnson himself. The staff is very friendly and the hygienists are very nice and gentle. Dr Johnson is also very nice and seems to enjoy his job and does it very well. I'm one of those types who are petrified of going to the dentist's office but they made it very easy for me and I'm looking forward to my next cleaning.
I just moved to North Carolina about two months ago and was looking for a new dentist. I went in to get my teeth cleaned today thinking that I might also have a cavity. It has been some time since I last went to the dentist (like 1 year to 2 years) and so my teeth were pretty bad. I ended up only having some minor gum recession and no cavity, but they did have to do an extensive cleaning (in two separate visits) because of how bad the plaque build up was. I had to have a special cleaning treatment that my insurance did not entirely cover. Everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful and the front desk even let me pay part of my bill today and the rest when I got paid. I recommend this dentists office to everyone. They are great, friendly, gentle, and the whole office has beautiful paintings (painted by the dentists own daughter) and a very open and friendly environment to it. I will definitely being going to this office for all of my teeth needs.
Friendly, beautiful office with a great staff. We moved this past year because of the military and this is a great, family run office. All three of my children had great experiences. Dr. Johnson took extra time to show and explain everything related to each child's teeth and ensure that we all understood any suggested procedures. I highly recommend Johnson Family Dentistry.
Dr. Johnson and his staff are very friendly and do an awesome job. I had a great experience here and I appreciate them answering all my questions. I usually dislike visiting dentists but my last visit was not painful at all. I wish I still lived in NC so I can keep coming here.
He took me in when I had an emergency when No other Denist would... Not even my regular dentist... Consider me a new happy Dr Getty patient!!
