These people are salesmen trying to get their commission by screwing people out of their money.
Same as the rest of you. I switched from us cellular to AT&T to get better cell service in my area. They didn't pay off my contract with USC as the promo stated.
My service was disconnected the same week that I made my first payment. I looked at the balance because I knew I had paid the bill on time. But the company tried charging me a separate activation fee for my second line that is my brother's. I had to get the store manager to call financial services and waive the activation fee. I still was out $85 as I made two payments in one month. Then on top of that, I had to pay a $40 reconnect fee. I later had that reimbursed. I've had all of this happen in just 5 months of service with them.
Spent several hours at the store yesterday replacing my wife's android phone with a new I phone 7. Jo that helped us was wonderful, she was knowledgeable and could not have been more helpful. Can not say enough about how great the service was!!
Went back in to get a replacement phone after demolishing my brand new iPhone s7. Was given a $200 credit for the broken phone. I was not told that I could have used that credit towards my bill, until AFTER the rep had helped me pick out $180 worth of accessories. I was made to believe this was just an in-store credit. After I got home, I realized the rep had switched the $20 tempered glass screen protector with a $45 screen protector. She did it while I was waiting for my files to switch from one phone to another, since I had left the store for half an hour like she told me to instead of waiting in the store.
If you want to get screwed over on money this is the place. Thought that I was gunna get my contract from Verizon paid off WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. When I got my rewards to finally pay my final bill it was 135 dollars. My final bill is 260 dollars. It is complete bull crap what they feed you.
I prefer the store to calling 611. I have had to wait maybe once out of the 4 or 5 times I've been in there. Usually I have the same woman help me every time and she's great (thank you Tasha). This last time I had a different woman help me and she went through my entire bill with me. She found, adjusting my plan based on usage and modification in service plans since my last visit, a way to knock $50 off my bill. I never have a problem there and everyone is super helpful.
Direct tv is a joke. You don't get a 50 dollar package it comes out to be 67 dollars "after taxes" and you cannot cancel or change your package.
I wish i could give negative stars!! They NEVER paid off our contract. Said that our AT&T phone number is invalid??!! They are crazy my husband has spent hours and hours dealing with them to no AVAIL! DON'T DO IT, THEY'LL NEVER PAY!! THEY ARE AWFUL!!
