Great prices, fast, done right
Booked an appointment online for my daughter to get her car's oil changed. Appt was at 10:00am. She was there on time, and she left at 11:24. What is the point of an appointment if you're still going to have to wait nearly 1.5 hours anyway?!?! Of course, reading these other comments, looks like doing anything online with this place is pointless. Then, they charge $33 for an oil change. It was just a standard v6 oil change with non synthetic oil! I can go to Walmart and wait for 1.5 hours and get it for $15!!! We will not be going back to say the least.
Awesome nice and honest, they do not take advantage of you. HIGHLY recommended!
I feel "ripped off." I have been coming here for a few services over the last couple of years. I've also gotten tires done here, at one time even all 4. Yes, they take a while to get something done, but, they are professional about it, and take the time to explain things. My issue, and I think it's a major issue that may affect all Mr. Tire locations is the way they charge. From the outside, it seems you are getting a good deal, a sign or two will remind you they do some things for free whereas other places may charge you for these services. Where they get you, and where they got me, is on perhaps uncommon issues. I had a broken wheel, and was charged more than 3.5 times then I could have gotten it. I don't think I should pay $749.99 for a wheel that I could have bought for $150. When you don't know much about tires or wheels, and with the signage they have outside, you don't expect to be "ripped off." They were other websites that also had it for $200-$250, so it wasn't an anomaly. I could even understand them perhaps doubling their money, but more than tripling? When you go buy a laptop at Best Buy, do you expect a $500 laptop to cost $1700? Neither do I, and I didn't that to happen to me in a place as "professional" as Mr. Tire. I know they had the tire delivered, and they did tell me it would take a few days, what I don't understand is if it took a few days, why am I being charged so much, it wasn't an emergency? I understand they should make money, but there's a level of basic trust, a sort of unwritten contract, that the customer should not worry about being entirely ripped off. I currently expect Mr. Tire to make it right, and I'll be willing to go back to them in the future, as long as they promise to charge me fairly. If not made right in a few days, I intend to challenge my American express transaction, citing predatory pricing, and having price protection for the item I bought. Then, to make sure others will know to check pricing, I plan to post this exact review at other Google, Yelp, Facebook, for every location, every week, until I get a response. Again, I can understand over paying, but not in this ratio. If anyone at Mr. Tire thinks it's ok, then please, next time you buy a $6 dollar value meal, give them $20 and tell them to keep the change. And do this until you have paid $750 dollars, because that's what I did.
