Demanding a Tip BEFORE Service?! No. Just absolutely, positively NO.
Not even close to how Panera should be.
Panera competes with McDonald's and other similar fast food restaurants. Those places would NEVER make a customer feel bad if they didn't leave a tip. Why does Panera?
Compared with other Panera Breads, this one is fairly new, with upgraded kiosk devices to place orders conveniently. I had a chipotle avocado melt but it was a bit smaller than that made by other places. Overall a 4 star.
Change this policy and I will change my rating. This WAS a great place to eat. Now it is less appealing.
Great food and service here. I ordered catering for pick up and also dined here. Both were great
Our cashier here was friendly and trying to answer our questions but the manager here was trying to dictate the cashiers words. I then customized my order to go which cost extra when you add more. When I got home and had a look, everything I added was not there. I then tried to call and what do ya know no one answers the phone. This location was not very clean and the service was poor.
Every time we have been here the service has been great, the food has been very fresh and the store is clean. We love to use the kiosk because it helps us customize our sandwiches better.
