Arrived 15 minutes early to an appointment only to have and hour or more waiting. Ridiculously long wait time, no visible urgency to get our pet checked up on or keep us updated, left to sit in the wait room for the vet to see us for nearly 40 minutes unattended. Will not use this vet ever again.
I recently made an appointment to have my dog spayed at this office. I dropped her off early that morning, and was told to get her around 5:30 that evening. We went to pick her up around that specified time, and were told to come back at 7:30. I believe they should have called me to inform me of this instead of me having to drive all the way to the office.
Downright snobby at times too! My pets rec'd GREAT care, but the prices were the highest in the area. When we moved, they were very lax in forwarding the records, to the point of forcing one of my dogs to have to get shots he didn't' need... all because they never got around to faxing the records. We sent letters, called, even stopped by and still do not have the one dog's record. Also, the lady vet was very nice but the guy there was not. He was not only unpleasant to us but rough with my pets. We will move back to that area next year, but won't go there. (Drive to Newport to see Dr. Westbrook!)
Nice staff, beautiful facility. Very caring staff.
I know from experience that I can always trust either Dr. Taylor or Dr. Godwin to provide complete and thorough care whenever I bring one of my pets to Bridges Professional Park Animal Hospital. Their gentleness, compassion, understanding and willingness to take the time to fully explain any problems is very reassuring. My first experience with Dr. Taylor was over 10 years ago when I took a rescued 5 year old Chihuahua to Bridges for an exam and treatment. Spike was suffering from neglect, malnutrition, had four teeth that needed to be removed, needed all his vaccinations, and we had him neutered. Dr. Taylor immediately took care of all his needs and helped me nurse him back to health. He lived a happy, healthy and spoiled 9 more years. Recently Dr. Taylor operated on my 2 yr old Chihuahua Peanut for a problem with the knee joint in his back leg that was causing him pain and limiting his ability to jump. Peanut has completely recovered, is no longer in pain and is able to run, jump and play just fine. A few weeks ago I took my puppy Zak in to be neutered. When doing the surgery Dr. Godwin found and fixed a hernia and also found 2 baby teeth that had not fallen out and needed to be removed to prevent a problem with his permanent teeth growing in properly. I highly recommend Bridges Professional Park Animal Hospital for the complete and caring services they provide!
